NFL, Fox, and Cable Tv

Did anybody catch the game yesterday? I didn't due to unfortunate events or black-out channel with particular cable tv. I’m sure a lot of football fans could not watch the game—unless they stream live. And you tried to view the channel a lovely person would explain to you why the NFL is no longer available. “We offered Fox to extend the contract, with payment, until after the Super Bowl on February 2 to ensure the best possible customer experience for the remainder of the NFL season, but Apollo & Fox refused this offer (my.dish.com). They go on to say that Fox does not care about the consumer and only thinking about making money “they don’t care how high a customer’s bill gets and are just trying to squeeze every last penny out of consumers to recoup the billions they spent on buying these stations.” but Dish actual cares about their customers. Sounds kind of fishy to me. The statement continues to say Dish offered Fox to continue playing the games while the ongoing negations. However, the same statement from Fox "Dish elected to drop Fox networks in an effort to coerce us to agree to outrageous demands. While we regret this is Dish's preferred approach to negotiating, we remind our loyal viewers that the Fox services are widely available through every other major television provider" (sportingnews .com). It sounds like the companies are greedy and are taking advantage of the situation. And more than likely have customers seek out streaming solutions.

DTC 355: Project 2 "COVID-19" propaganda poster

I decided to do this theme because that is what I’m constantly hearing all day for the past weeks. So why not make some art of this situation. The poster colors China flags withing the spray is where it was started. And I changed the mask into a dis-morphed United states flag. Using a very generic Asian face from the internet because people are freaking about or reacting in racial profiling manor. And calling this virus what is and that is a racist virus. And I chose to use a disinfecting spray because people are buying large amounts of this. And it also references to how some Americans view Asian people as zombies, pests, or the cause of reason for the spread of this virus. Which is far from the truth.

DTC 355: Timelapse project

"Why the F**k I'm Up" "for this projected I took a shit ton of photos for about 6 months now. And I did not know what I wanted to do with them. Anyway, I took slices of each photo that was taken at an ungodly hour. And rearranged them into a new view of my car window. And I will say I was not driving when I produced these photos. It pays off sometimes to be early. But I rather be sleeping."

A German artist by the name of Andreas Gursky photo manipulated laborers to make seem that were over thousands of workers in one building. And the photograph makes you think about where all materialistic phones, clothing, tablets things. I think we all know it comes from but what we do not like to think about is the amount of labor and conditions of the environment.
